Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Growfolio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the website growfolio.lol and the Growfolio service. We help creators on X (Twitter) track their follower growth journey, auto-detect milestones, and generate shareable celebration cards.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
When you sign up via Google or X (Twitter) OAuth, we receive from your OAuth provider: your name, email address, profile picture, and (for X) your X handle and X user ID. We store this to create your Growfolio account.
2.2 X follower data
We use a third-party data provider (TwitterAPI.io) to periodically fetch the public follower count of the X account you connect. We do not read your direct messages, tweet content, or any private information. We only read your public follower count and basic public profile metadata (display name, bio, avatar).
2.3 Usage data
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to operate and improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2.4 Payment data
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your raw card number or full payment details. We receive a Stripe customer ID and subscription status, which we store to manage your plan.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and personalise the Growfolio service
- To poll your public X follower count on schedule and detect milestones
- To generate and display your public journey page at
growfolio.lol/@yourhandle - To send weekly growth digest emails and trial reminder emails
- To manage your subscription and billing via Stripe
- To investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with any party not listed in this policy.
4. Public journey pages
Your public journey page (growfolio.lol/@handle) is visible to anyone on the internet by default. It displays your X handle, follower growth chart, and milestone history. If you delete your account, your public page is removed within 24 hours.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data and follower snapshots for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and do not resubscribe, we retain your data for 90 days to allow reactivation, then permanently delete it on request. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@growfolio.lol.

7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: a session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@growfolio.lol and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Growfolio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email. Your continued use of Growfolio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
