Terms of Service

Effective date: September 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Growfolio (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free-trial and paid subscribers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Growfolio. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Growfolio on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Account and X connection

You may sign up with Google or X OAuth. If you sign up via Google you are required to connect an X account before using the Service — Growfolio tracks X follower growth and is not useful without a connected X account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must keep your login credentials secure and notify us immediately at hello@growfolio.lol if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Free trial and subscriptions

4.1 Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment card is required at signup. The trial begins on the date your account is created.

4.2 Paid plans

After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Pricing and features are listed on growfolio.lol/#pricing. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.

4.3 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.

4.4 Price changes

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any price change takes effect for your plan. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to track any X account other than your own connected account
  • Attempt to circumvent or abuse rate limits, or make excessive API calls through the Service
  • Use generated milestone cards or AI-drafted captions to deceive, impersonate, or mislead others
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service's infrastructure or data
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of X's own Terms of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, without notice and without refund.

6. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Growfolio only reads your public X follower count and public profile metadata. We do not post tweets on your behalf, access your private messages, or read your tweets.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Our IP

The Growfolio name, logo, design system, and Service code are our property. You may not copy or use them without prior written permission.

7.2 Your content

You own the milestone captions you write or edit. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your X handle and milestone data on your public journey page and in product marketing (e.g. example cards), which you can revoke by deleting your account.

7.3 AI-generated content

Milestone captions generated by Gemini are provided as drafts for your editing and use. We make no copyright claims over AI-generated output.

8. Public journey pages

Your public journey page at growfolio.lol/@yourhandle is accessible to anyone on the internet. If you wish to make your page private, you must delete your account. We may include a “Track your growth with Growfolio” attribution link on your public page.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT FOLLOWER COUNT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GROWFOLIO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and notify you by email for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
